Description: Antique 14K Solid Gold Hair Mourning Bracelet w/ Inscription Pre Civil War 1844 This is a mourning bracelet and has someone's hair braided inside of it. The bracelet is solid 14K gold. This bracelet was tested at "Seattle gold" on Roosevelt in Seattle. It has an inscription on the back which reads AWC died December 21st 1844 It has a ding on the edge of the centerpiece and some of the black enamel is chipped(please see last pics). It measures 7.5 in around and weighs 8.8 g The clasp locks and works properly.The bracelet will be sent priority mail. Insurance can be added if the buyer requests it but is extra.
