The gorgeous Taille d’epargne photo locket has a pretty etched design with blue & black enamel. It opens to hold two photos, the frames & glass covers will be shipped separately, so you can easily put a photo of your own inside, the cover are easy to put in but can be somewhat tricky to remove. The locket measures 1 by 5/8 inches and is very nice quality and opens easily and closes with a nice snap. The beautiful antique slide chain is quite long, measuring approx 50 inches and slide has tiny seed pearls & turquoise. The color of the gold on the rope chain, slide and Locket is so lovely with a rich beautiful patina. There are no markings on the Locket, but has been tested and has a solid 14K gold front and back. Common place in antique lockets, Gold front and back is an antique Gold jewellery style where both the front and the back of the locket is crafted from solid Gold, with the frames and locket hinge crafted from base metal. There is no wear the gold finish, just lovely. The overall condition on this beautiful piece is excellent, with very minor age related wear. You can wear this chain so many different ways.
