Description: We are pleased to present an antique brass bird head clip, 4.875" long, 1-5/16" wide. Possibly a roadrunner with the long beak and feather crest. Victorian, brass, I would guess German but it unmarked. It has a screw hole on the back plate for wall-mounting, and would hang downward and clip a letter or note. It is spring-mounted; the tips of the beak do not align perfectly. Shows general wear, worn patina, and a few tiny spots of verdigris. Please see pics. SEE PICTURE!
