Details:* Beads are intact and drawstring pulls closed nicely.* The drawstring is a heavy black cord that dangles beautiful black beaded balls.* Inside is a little mirror hanging from it's own fabric strap. Mirror does show some wear.* The strap on the inside part shows wear.* There are loose threads around the left handle. Circa late 1800's* The gorgeous reticule has a vibrant, colorful floral design of lovely red & yellow flowers with green pedals. * The beadwork is in nice condition with an identical design on front and back....light brown interior / showing wear. Please see photographs.* Overall Beautiful vintage condition with minimal wear on body. Interior inside has a little pocket to hold coins. Measurements: 6" Inches across is middle5" Inches across at top6 " Inches deep inside12" Inches from top of beaded strap to bottom of reticule Weight: 6.6 Ounces A very special rare reticule from the late 1800's for a lady's necessities by day and evening, also called an "Indispensable". Laborious unique workmanship in making. Bags from the mid-1800's are made with very small, fine beads. The reticule is in amazing condition for being approximately over 100 years old.
