Description: This is a Large Vintage REED Blue and White Speckled Graniteware Three Piece Roasting Pan, with top, bottom, and tray Technically this piece is vintage but based on the May 2, 1919 Patent date on the metal vent adjustments, it will be an antique in about six years. The large oval roaster measures about 18" x 12" x 8 1/2" tall. The REED logo can be seen at the center of the lid. The lid has two adjustable vents on top with a May 2, 1919 Patent date. As found, one of the vents is missing the steel ring handle as seen in a closeup photo and the roaster is offered as found / as seen / as described with respect to that issue. Condition: This is a nice looking roaster but it does have a number of condition issues: a number of worn / chipped spots on the enamel. On the outside, this is mainly on the edges and on the REED logo, with a couple of spots elsewhere. On the inside, this is mainly one large spot of the floor of the base. The photos show the condition of the graniteware pretty accurately so please review the many large, clear photos and make your own assessment as well. The inside bottom of the tray has many lines of crazing or stress as seen The inside of the roaster has some discoloration from use as seen one of the vents is missing the steel ring handle as noted above The roaster is offered as found / as seen / as described.
