Antique Vintage Cast Iron Starline Single Star Pulley Barn Farm Tool Red Paint

Description: Large red painted heavy Starline Moveable or Fixed pulley. Weight 13 lbs. 4.3 oz. All metal block & tackle pulley. Hook’s neck also marked with raised “8” and 5-point star in circles as seen in photographs. Heavy steel in perfect working order. Possible bend (was alignment intentional – sorry – not my area of expertise). One side of mechanism latches / unlatches as shown in photo #9. Hallmarks: Body & neck both marked with #8 and star. I believe the star is the hallmark for Starline, but am not sure. Approximate age: Unknown Dimensions: 15” long. Concave pulley wheel has 4.5” outer / 3.5” inner diameter Condition: Good usable or collectible condition. Mentionable issues: a) Bend (intentional? subsequent to manufacture?) in pulley body as seen in last photo, and b) Scuffed paint commiserate with age and use. All bits swivel and latch / unlatch as they should. No corrosion or structural defects. Unpacked weight: 13 lbs. 4.3 oz. Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping.
