Description: Sublime length of English vintage damask in an amazing Art Nouveau inspired floral. A beautiful dusty mauve pink. Very hard to capture this color. The closest is my photo with the ruler. The others use simply as reference of the design etc..because hard as I tried, my camera just couldn’t get an accurate image of the tone so you’ll see many variations in my photos as I attempted. It is a more matt cloth with a glossier satin type weave to the design. I imagine a rayon cotton. So much lovelier in person. It has an organic natural feel though also quite elegant and refined. About the 40's-50's Mid density, fluid body and largish motifs but not enormous. I imagine furnishings? but could be equally lovely as a clothing textile. Unlimited possibilities with this lovely piece. Just wonderful for unique creations.
