Antique Vintage T. Stewart, St Andrews, Scotland

Description: Here is a very early and rare T Stewart St Andrews Scotland hickory shaft niblic. This head has a handmade dot punched face pattern and a long thick hosel. The markings on the head are a little faint, but the early Stewart cleek mark is visible. Its condition is good, and it shows truly little ware and marks, it does have a crack that is viable on the lower part of the shaft (see pics). The club was lightly cleaned, and the head was carefully hand-polished to remove the oxidation and years of neglect. The club is approximately 36 inches long to the bottom of the hosel. The shaft is the original, the grip is the original (I think), in worn condition, see photos. The head is tight to the hosel when you twist it. This club would make a great addition to anyone’s Stewart collection.
