Description: This little chick is one of two that I have for sale, that are almost identical - this one is slightly more translucent than the other one I have for sale, else they are equal. Any time I can, I support Ukraine. I have several dealers there that I purchase from when I can, and the items that I buy are vintage. There is a war going on there, you say? Yep, but the brave folks in Ukraine just ignore it, and keep moving forward. This bird, and the other one that I have for sale, came from Karkiv, and were shipped to me directly from there. Our world amazes me, and I was shocked that these made it here in one piece. I have several groups of ornaments from Ukraine for sale, so take a peek. They are lovely! This little chick is great for Easter OR Christmas. He is a pale yellow, with red accents painted for his feet, wings and eyes. He is about 2 3/4" tall. The little chick has some chips below the cap for the clip, which is darkened with age. There are "flea bites" to the paint - very small chips to the paint from handling over time. He is gorgeous, and would make a great piece for all kinds of holidays, and for crafts.
