Description: Antique W & S B Gold Filled Vest Pocket Watch Chain w/Goldstone Compass Fob Click image to enlarge Description Offered for your consideration is an antique pocket watch vest chain. From the very early 1900s, the chain is marked W & S B. The chain design features two 10mm fluted beads, which do slide along the double chain, and is complete with the necessary findings to allow for wear. It also has a goldstone compass fob for accent. The chain appears to be created in gold filled metal, but has not been tested. Gold filled was predominately used on these types of chains. Overall, the chain is in very good 'as found' condition, and the compass does work. The chain does show some signs of use, but no breaks or repairs. There is an aged patina to the metal findings. The chain only measures about 10 7/8" in length, while the fob adds another 1 1/4". It has a total weight of 20.4 grams. Auctions can be combined to save on shipping.
