Description: Up for sale is a gorgeous Antique Silverplate Repousse Candlestick made in Bridgeport, Connecticut by Weidlich Brothers. Circa 1905-1920s. The candlestick features dutch style repousse scenes of people, wind mills and floral scrollwork. There is a mark on the base that reads "W.B. MFG CO." This stands for Weidlich Brothers Manufacturing Company. There is a lot of tarnish to the silver plating and dust in the crevices of the scenes and scrollwork. There are some minor bends in the base and usage wear as seen in the photos. Overall the candlestick is in good condition and displays beautifully. Measurements are approximately:10 1/4" Tall.2 1/2" Rim.4 1/2" Base. This is an antique item and may have small manufacturers imperfections which do not affect the display of the piece.
