This 14" cage size Westinghouse electric desk fan is just fabulous. That's the best word we can come up with! We meticulously dissembled all existing parts and electrical connections and repaired as needed, cleaned, and reassembled to bring this piece back to life by our skilled technicians. All inside components have been refurbished and re-protected. All visible parts have been professionally polished, restored, and/or professionally painted with show car automotive paint. Dimensions are "14X17"X9" PLEASE READ THIS!!!! This model is a 2 speed fan and has a rotary switch on the base as originally manufactured. The cage and cast aluminum base have been customized on this super cool fan to make it a one of a kind piece. The cage logo has been recreated to the original verbiage and has special protections by our exclusive process! The polished base accent and fins really add a super Flash Gordon look! The fan operates great and the re-balanced blades work perfectly. The other custom features like the base accents really add a way cool look to this restored ca.1948 desk fan! This fan is over 77 years old! It operates just as it did back in the day. As per our disclosure policy, the blades were badly damaged and therefore the painted finish has surface imperfections such as "orange peel" which can not be seen from 4 feet away but can be detected upon close inspection. Other than that the fan looks marvelous! Also please understand due to the age of these antique fans, even though they work as they did many years ago they are meant for display and not to be used as an every day appliance. Since most parts are the original pieces, constant use may add undo wear to some of these revitalized parts.
