Description: Very old American Folk Art Whirligig Whirly Gig. Its is made of wood. The base/stand is newer, but the whirligig itself is original and old. It works as designed. Resting on the stand, the whirligig is 22" Tall and 20" Long. The rotating whirligig works as designed and the woman moves the butter churn dasher up and down as the propeller blades turn.
