Description: This is an antique, solid sterling silver cigarette case by William B. Kerr & Co., which was established in the 1880s, and was absorbed into Gorham in 1927. It is marked with their maker's mark and "sterling 130 FX" (see 4th photo). The case has decorative engraved lines on the front and back, and a three-initial monogram of CLA. The case measures 4 inches by 3 inches, which is large enough for credit or business cards. It weighs a hefty 115.6 grams. The inside has an openwork bar to divide the two sides, but does not stay on one side or the other. This beautiful case is in very good antique condition: it opens well and closes securely, has original elastic bands, but has minor surface scratches and dents. E-mail us with any questions.
