Description: Authentic antique ornate wood column top piece / capital or pediment. The wood is oak. This was from an indoors use. It is rather large for an indoors piece -- it is 9 1/2" square at the top and 7 1/2" tall. It is heavy - it weighs 6 lb 3 oz unboxed. Old white paint. Shows age and wear commensurate with its age and use. There is an old loss to the flat edge on one of the four top corners, see photo #3. Raised decorative elements all around. One area is missing a bit of the raised trim -see photos, especially photo 10. This is only one of the four sides, even though it shows in many of the photos. We have included photos of all the sides, and from different angles, etc. Please look at all the photos as they are also part of the description. Ask questions before you bid.
