It our opinion, it is far too lovely for use as a rug and makes a stunning tapestry wall hanging or base for a centerpiece or table scape. It is in excellent vintage condition. It is very detailed and well done. The colors are vibrant. It is comprised of 2 pieces sewn together, the wool tapestry and a thick woven cotton material backing. The tapestry itself is pristine. The backing has a couple of what look like water spots which appeared when we had it cleaned to freshen it up. It was purchased approximately 15 years ago in Southern Maryland. It has been stored in a climate, air temp and humidity, control. It has never been used. It is in good condition and ready use or gift wrap. See photos for full description.
