Having studied at the School of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Zoran Music settled in Venice after spending time in Dalmatia. Arrested during the war for resistance, he was deported to Dachau. His return to Venice in 1945 marked the real beginning of his career as a painter, which led him to exhibit in many countries from the 1950s onwards. His landscapes, memories of the Dalmatian countryside, filled with animals and peasants, tend more and more towards the pure, towards the sign. In 1970, he reworked his memories of the camps into a terrible sequel entitled.
