Description: Beautiful party cocktail dress from the late 1950s / early 1960s made of a delicate crochet-style textured lace in a light blue colour layered overtop a lightweight synthetic lining. The sheer elbow length sleeved dress features a folded collar and a tunic style cut with a darted bust and a knee length hem. Love all the zigzag edging. The dress closes at the back with a metal zipper. MEASUREMENTS: No labels (the only label present is a tiny Union made label) ... the bust measures 40 inches (therefore fits a size 36 - 38 bust best), natural waist measures 38 inches and the hips measure 44 inches. There is no stretch to the fabric ... as always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. The dress is 41 inches in length and the sleeves are 17 inches long.
