Description: For sale is a German Import Pressing Sample: Not For Sale copy of G.F. Handel's Samson performed by the Munich Bach Orchestra conducted by Karl Richter. This is a 4xLP box set from Archiv Produktion Records SAPM 198 461/64 released in 1973 (according to discogs.com). Included in the set is a 35-page booklet with libretto in English, German and French. This set was originally released to the public in 1969. This sample or promotional copy may have been available in 1968 according to the record labels but the records are etched with a "1969". Check photos for more info. Photos are of the box set you will receive. The set box is in very good condition with some wear at the corners and surface. The 35-page booklet (includes front/back pages) is in very good condition with some pencil markings on the front and back pages. The sleeves are in good condition with a small tear on the first and a severe split on the third. The vinyl is flawless with no visible scuffs or imperfections on 4 discs.
