Volume 2 has the original blind embossed illustrated brown cloth on the covers and spine rebacked onto brown buckram. Light to moderate scattered foxing and toning to the text both volumes. A few page edge tears and some tissue guards for the engravings are missing. The folding map in volume 2 has edge wear and a tape repair.
