Description: For sale is vinyl record by Argent titled Encore: Live In Concert", originally released in 1974 as a double album set by Epic Records with a gate-fold presentation. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "T" and "sf", followed by the matrix numbers 1-A/1-C/1-A/1-A, indicating that these records were mastered by Sam Feldman before the first stampers were used to make this album at Columbia Records' pressing plant located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought these records used, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put them both away in a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. There are no original inner sleeve s with this listing. The cover is graded as Very Good Plus because of corner blunts, ring wear and edge rubs. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint Minus, for both records, because of some superficial sleeve marks. I'm play grading Record One (Side One and SideTwo) as Excellent because of occasional low levels of surface noise, most noticeable during the quietest sections of playback. I'm play grading Record Two as Very Good Plus because of low level ticking and an occasional pop at the beginning of Side Three (I Don't Believe In Miracles). Side Four is play graded as Near Mint Minus because of occasional ultra low levels of surface noise. All four sides play all the way through without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This has become a very rare record and you would hard pressed to find a first edition like this copy. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more Progressive Rock and Roll albums, as well as records of all genres, listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for looking at my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
