This was purchased from a nationally known Argus collector. Try to find another set. Folks, we collected Argus items exclusively for the past 45 years with an emphasis on items in the original factory box, dealer items and rare items. We even sponsored the five U.S. Argus collectors with the most knowledge and extensive collections for a long weekend at our home a few years ago. Much new and specialized knowledge about Argus items was shared during that "Argus Weekend". You would absolutely know these folks and you can talk to them and ask them about my collection. At one point, I even owned an Argus Model D (YES, MODEL D) which was sold to a major collector about 5 years ago. We began selling our collection about 5 years ago and we have sold a ton of Argus items during that time.
