Description: This is an Army Air Forces Pilot and Crew Member Physical Record Card used from 1943-44. The Air Force was not yet formed, so this is for a pilot in the Air Corps for the Army of the United States. It is darker brown on one side. Although it has aged, we can still read the writing. On the inside, it is black writing on white and it is quite readable. "Qualified for Flying" with dates, Tpye O blood and dates when vaccines were given. We have also included the personal card that belonged to this pilot when he was in the Army. This measures about 7 1/8 inches when opened and 2 3/8 inches when folded and 4 1/8 inches tall. This is from an estate, as this pilot passed away in his 90's.
