Description: This listing is for a Rare Vintage Mid 20th Century Arne Tjomsland (1915-1970) Norwegian Modern Teak Wood Inuit Seal Hunter in Kayak / Canoe Wooden Sculpture / Figurine. I believe it is titled "Seal in Sight". It is signed with stamped "NORWAY" on bottom (photo 6). The figure is holding a spear. Figure and spear are removable. It is in great condition overall with no breaks or repairs. There are 2 small dents to top edge of kayak (photo 22). Some discolored spots to the left of the dents (photo 23). Also, it looks to be missing a leather rope which was attached to the staple in the spear, which could easily be replaced. Other minor signs of wear, not bad. No other issues. Looks clean. Please view photos carefully as they are my main description. *(white spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item). It is very fragile and will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures about 15 1/2" (39.3 cm) long, 1 11/16" (4.3 cm) wide, and 3 1/8" (8 cm) tall.
