Art Deco Bookend made by McLelland Barclay and as written on another site "he was an award winning painter, sculptor, designer of art deco Jewelry, designed military camouflage for Navy combat aircraft, served in both World Wars and at 52 years of age in 1943 lost his life in the Pacific when the ship he was on was torpedoed." He was famous for deco styling and detailed works of art. This piece in very good shape. Over 80 years old. Small piece at tip of horse's ear missing and the felt bottom is also missing. All the patina is beautiful and the artist signature is clear on side of base Please see pictures. No Returns
