Ramella is known for his minimalist, functional approach to design, and his skilful use of materials such as glass, metal and wood. He was also a visiting professor at several universities and design schools in Italy and abroad. Pier Giuseppe Ramella died in 2015 at the age of 66, leaving behind him an important legacy in the world of Italian design.
