Description: DESCRIPTION: Studio pottery artisan crafted handpainted stoneware soup tureen. This is a versatible piece that can also be used as a salad bowl, serving bowl or punch bowl. It's signed but I'm unable to determine the studio simply based on the signature. The previous owner indicated this was a wedding gift and that it was purchased in the Annapolis, MD area approximately 32 years ago. Annapolis Pottery, perhaps? This is a large, eye-catching piece that measures 10" high (with lid in place) with an opening diameter of 11". It weighs 7 lbs before packing. The item does come with a matching ladle, but it is cracked and repaired (see photo #9). I'll include it in the event that the buyer wants to use this for display only. Not sure how well the fracture would hold up with actual table use. The bowl and lid are in excellent condition. Much nicer than photos depict.
