Maybe I mis-understand the way things were in 1934 but this magazine might be better titled DECORATING YOUR MANSION. It is strictly upscale focused on the finest home construction and home furnishings. The rooms pictured feature A LOT of space. The magazines are fabulously illustrated with drawings and many, many photographs. The ads are naturally, as interesting as the content. Arts and Decoration was sold at 50 cents in 1928 and through 1933. But as the depression wore on, the price fell to 35 cents. The sixteen issues are: 1928: June1933: July, August1934: April, June, July, August, September, October1936: March, April1938: August1939: August, October, December1952: September As individual issues, these are quite rare and expensive.
