Description: I am at my wits end with this thing, so I'm offloading it. With both power supplies I've tried using. The supply is worth 30 alone. No power (no led). Kay. Let it sit in the closet for a year or two until I finally get time to take a look. Plug it in... Power. Plays games. HDD is healthy. Played a bit of medievil (PS1) due to being absolutely baffled. Power it down. Still has red light. Unplug it and plug it back in... No power. Order a new power supply. Install it. Power. Do a deep cleaning and reapply thermal compound... No power. Repeat. No power. Can't figure out the origin. Traces on board look good from what I can tell. Original power supply seems fine as I've dug deeper with further trace testing, thus I'm tossing my hands in the air with this. The unit is still good for parts, but I don't have enough PS3s anymore to make it worth sitting on.
