He has worked in parish and prison ministry for more than twenty-four years as a pastor and chaplain, where he has lead prayer groups and taught prayer as a major pastoral technique to a variety of denominations. As Long as I Have Breath is a compilation of some of the prayers that Rev. Twyman has said over his years of ministry. He believes that prayer is a combination of hope, humility, and faith-and that it offers freedom and gives people a sense of place in the world.
