Description: Athearn #2200 Special Edition SW 1000 Switcher Loco With Caboose - New In Box! This is a brand new, never assembled Athearn Special Edition set featuring an Athearn livery SW1000 switcher loco and caboose set. There have only been a couple times Athearn has offered HO trains with an Athearn livery. For the very first time ever I have removed the loco from the box for this sale and gave it a test run. It runs smooth and quiet after running back and forth a half dozen times on a 3 ft section of track. There are no headlights or other lighting. I purchased this set for myself years ago and have kept it on a closet shelf in my smoke free home. I will carefully pack this set for shipping.
