Description: This is a GREAT looking Atmos Model 540 Clock. Clock runs and has been keeping perfect time. The clock runs on changes in the air temperature and never needs winding. Serial # 640869 dates this to approximately the early 1990's. Made in Switzerland with 13 Jewels. Clock is nice and clean for 30+ years old. Internal bubble level has no fluid. This is not an issue and I always use a more accurate external level to set up the clocks anyway. Clock shows minimal scratches and expected wear and tear for well cared for item of this age.There is a tiny hint of a spot where there probably was a presentation plaque that's near impossible to see.I only noticed when I took photos. If I didn't mention it you might never see it when on display either!! Photos are very much part of the description so please look carefully, and feel free to ask questions. This example has a very good, removable front glass panel with one small chip and one larger chip on the bottom corners. Near all Atoms clock front glass have chips.
