Description: This is a GREAT looking Atmos Model 540 Clock. Clock runs and has been keeping perfect time. This clock has the rare and less common roman numeral face and the also lesscommon "dimple" pendulum. This a is a STUNNING EXAMPLE and NOT your common garden variety Atmos clock. The clock runs on changes in the air temperature and never needs winding. Serial # 651544 dates this to approximately the early 1990's. Made in Switzerland with 13 Jewels. Clock is nice and clean for 30+ years old. The clock has a good working internal bubble level. Clock shows minimal scratches and expected wear and tear for well cared for item of this age. There is no sign of any presentation plaque, which you often seen on many examples. Clock even includes the locking lever cover/tube that is more often lost! Photos are very much part of the description so please look carefully, and feel free to ask questions. This example has a very good, removable front glass panel with 2 tiny chips on the bottom corners. Near all Atoms clock front glass have chips. They are barely noticeable when on the clock.
