Power cords plug straight down to the top-layer AC outlets, making installation trouble free. For those who prefer shelf mounting, the bottom stand can be easily removed. PowerQuest Extreme Voltage Shutdown PowerQuest protects your gear from problems and potential damage associated with extreme over voltage. When incoming voltage reaches 140VAC, PowerQuest responds. It will activate the main power circuit relay to open within less than 0.25 seconds and automatically resets once the incoming power is within a safe range. PowerQuest Surge Protection Some power conditioners use surge protection circuitry that degrades over time - or in some cases immediately as a result of a high surge - damaging your surge protector or causing it to lose its effectiveness.
