Description: 1915 One Ducat Austrian gold coin depicting Franz Joseph. Purchased in 1950 in Austria by my grandfather and placed on a charm bracelet. His wife soon died and the bracelet was never worn. The coin has been stored ever since. Bezel is 14K. Weight 4.1 grams with bezel (coin is actually 3.49 g) Diameter: 2 mm with gold bezel Condition: Very nice. No scratches. Beautiful luster, great detail. Has been in a gold bezel since 1950. Just removed from charm bracelet . Not used since relative died in 1951 Fineness: .0986 Franz Joseph was a former emperor of Austria for 70 years. Born 1830, died 1916. (86 yrs old)
