Description: Garniture Vase (2 ) - There are two of these Delft Blaau vases. The designs on the vases are of vintage color blue depicting two Dutch scholars on the river' s edge discussing politics and music. In the distant background a Windmill is shown framed against blue and white skyline. In the forefront, you can see a large tree and an array of flowering plant with a beautiful rhapsody of grapes hanging from the top of the vase. The sides of this vase are graced with a series of semi-circle trellis design cascading from the top to the bottom of the vase. The "oud" Delft markings and signs are hand painted on the bottom of the vase indicating it authenticity. The flared hexagonal section vases were produced during the early part of the 19th Century. These two vases bear the same patterns - Porcelene Claeuw on bottom of the Urn. The colors are still vivid and antique blaau. Please note these pieces do have signs of crazing. There are no cracks or chips. Please review all of the pictures closely to see the status of each Urn. One of the vases has an aged manufactures hole.Each vase is approximately 9 1/4"H by 6 1/4"W with a Base of 4 1/2".Both vases are in excellent condition and ready for your shelf.
