The piece features a detailed map depicting Battle of Orthes 27th of February 1814 and is hand colored and is a must-have for any militaria collector. The engraving is in its original state and is a valuable addition to any collection of Civil War memorabilia. This plate was acquired by us from the estate of a civil war dealer approximately 8 years ago, we have several that he had already identified and placed in sleeves to be taken to a show in Virginia.
