Kits include undercoating cans, 1 spray gun and 1 FREE undercoating spray wand. The RA1 undercoating spray gun comes equipped with an adjustable nozzle which allows for various coats and textures. Gun body is aluminum and weighs only 14oz. Its threaded collar allows for direct attachment to the product canister and is equipped with an aluminum suction plunger. The 7" FREE spray wand is included for those hard to reach areas such as behind mufflers and exhaust pipes. How to use Gravel Guard Shake before use. Surface to be treated must be clean, dry, rust-, dust-and grease-free. Allow 15 minutes flash-off time between coats. Do not bake over 150°F. Dries quickly: thin coat 30 min, double coat 60 min, very thick coat (i.e., wheel well application) 90 min. Tekton® 38 can be applied using an air mix pistol with an air pressure of 3-6 bar / 45 to 90 psi. Depending on the layer thickness, after about 60 to 90 minutes over paint-able with all conventional 2K-and base coat lacquers. When a 2K-lacquer is used we recommend to first use a thin layer of primer and to paint over after this layer has completely dried. If thicker layers are wanted it is to be recommended to dry the layers in between. Optimum spraying distance is about 1 foot. Over-spray, or equipment contaminated with over-spray, must be cleaned while still wet with a solvent.
