If you have an Avalon Nano 3 Bitcoin miner that it's barely doing 4th or just hashes at high 3.5ish, you may have a slow/bad chip on your hash board, that's just the silicon lottery. It works both ways, you can have fast chips and slow chips. But every unit should do above 4th. If yours does not, you have problem. If you can't exchange it, then this is for you. Symptoms: 1. Does not hash above 4TH2. Constantly switching to MED settings.3. Dropped connections due to high rejection rates.4. Unit resets randomly. Swapping of the hash board is really easy, understand that at a minimal some experience is needed to install the replacement board and thermal compound is required. Doing this voids your warrantee. Advantage:You don't need to ship the item back to manufacturer in China. And you won't have to wait very long, get it done quickly.I can swap and repair at an additional charge if need be, but its very easy. (careful with the inductor while opening the unit)
