The pearls are generally 7.5 to 8.5 mm in diameter and baroque in shape, but they technically range from approximately 6 mm at the smallest to 10.5 mm at the longest. The pearls exhibit a yellow dark cream body color and generally have good luster. The surfaces of these pearls range from clean to spotted to ringed. The strand is continuous and 60 inches in length. To be clear, that is a FIVE FOOT LONG continuous strand of large, striking cultured pearls! Wear it long, looped once, looped twice, or use your imagination! It is strung on high quality nylon bead cord and is knotted every so often for security. There are a total of 194 cultured pearls in this strand! We have the origin of this strand as unknown, but they are likely of Chinese origin. Still, pearls like these are farmed in various parts of the world including the United States. They were strung in our now closed brick and mortar jewelry store. We have the treatment shown as "bleached" and "dyed" because almost all pearls undergo this treatment to some extent, and processors guard their particular treatments as proprietary. They are not what we would consider "blatantly dyed", however. Some pearls are also irradiated, but we do not believe these pearls were treated in this manner.
