And possibly earlier, antique natural amber beads - These are especially glorious because many of the beads are in their original amber nugget form and were simply hand pierced to become a bead. The amber is originally from the Baltic sea region and was traded all over including Tibet. Earthy, and rugged and worn smooth with age and use- Two of the beads have a turquoise stone embedded . Tibetans often inlay coral or turquoise into coral and amber beads that have natural fissures in them. Separated with thick red wool felt from the region . 21” long 236 grams.
