Bachman Spectrum HO Scale SOU SOUTHERN 7 Coach Consist

Description: This sale is for a collection of 7 HO scale Bachmann Spektrum SOU Southern Heavy Weight Illuminated Coaches. Included are parts numbers 89441, 89442, 89443, 89444, 89445, 89446, 89447 and 89448. I'm selling the cars because I intended to use them on a 15" radius loop and they weren't happy and didn't look to scale. They run fine on my 22" radius track. Two of the cars were run for approximately one week. I purchased this engines as NEW from a small shop in the UK named "Zetland Model Railways" and had them imported to the US. Of the 7 cars, 4 were still sealed in plastic wrapping. There are 2 still sealed in their original plastic wrapping (never opened). 1 of the cars appears to possibly have had the roof removed and glued back on. Since the 1 car appears used I'm flagging the whole lot as used. I replaced the original couplers with Kadee 148 couplers as the originals didn't hold very well. 1 of the 5 cars I opened had metal clasp style coupler retainers. The remaining 4 all had tradition plates held down with screws. All of the screws seated nicely with no signs of ever being tightened. All of the 5 cars I opened required extensive lubrication. I used Bachmann E-Z Lube to ensure conductivity, but I suspect you'll need something stronger to make the lighting stay on consistently and to stop the squeaking. A couple of the cars had varying degrees of surface rust/oxidation on the wheels that had to be scrubbed away. I tried to capture pictures of a "bad" wheel. The lighting on all 5 cars I opened is functioning with some flickering. I suspect the flickering could be resolved with proper cleaning and lubrication. Some of the boxes include the original wrapping paper and/or original couplers. Others don't. All of the 5 cars that were opened were illuminated, but I can't guarantee the remaining 2 are.
