Description: Here is an exciting set of two Baddeleyite crystals, both around a cm in size, from the gem gravels around Mogok Myanmar. Baddeleyite is a very rare Zirconium oxide mineral. with hardness 6.5, it has been faceted on occasion as a an unusual gemstone for collectors. It forms rare crystals in the same gem gravels which did produce Ruby and Spinel in Myanmar, yet they are rarely available for sale, sue to it's scarcity. These two crystals come from an older collection, but were at one time purchased through the KARP dealership in the Czech Republic somewhere in the 90's. Please be advised, I ship with Ground Advantage.
