Description: This postcard-- published by Illustrated Post Card Company out of New York-- shows a street scene with trolley of "Reconstructed Baltimore St. After The Great Fire, Baltimore, MD.", a reference to the disaster that occurred in February of 1904. On the backside in the lower left quadrant, there is a typed address for someone residing in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. I don't know, but I imagine that may have been someone during the 20th century who owned a postcard collection and who liked to type his name and address on his postcards... The postcard was postmarked in July of 1908 in Baltimore, Maryland, and sent to Chippewa Lake, Ohio in Medina County. After the years the postcard may show some typical wear.
