Description: Excellent condition. Not branded that I can find. I think the it was paper and came off. It's hard wood of some kind probably oak. Very heavy and definitely a hard wood. It was purchased from Levenger, an office supply sales catalogue company, in 1995 for $500. Product No. FC525DC and was listed as a "Great American Swivel Chair" Dark Cherry. It is equipped with a genuine Collier-Keyworth adjustable mechanism that changes the seat height as well as the tilt tension. It's a high quality chair. Instructions on how to adjust it from Levenger. Turn the hand wheel (the vertical one) clockwise to the right to raise the seat. (If you find it is hard to turn, lift the seat with one hand while turning. This will relieve pressure.) Turn the hand wheel clockwise ( the horizontal one ) to increase tension. FYI.
