Description: Here is a One Pound Banknote, Uncirculated, P-25, dated November 9, 1964 when Rhodesia was still part of the British Empire. The three notes printed by DeLaRue in 1964 were the last notes issued for the Rhodesian Government. Rhodesia broke away from the British Government Control later that year, declaring Independence in November, 1965. The Rhodesian Government still recognized the Queen, and printed its own Banknotes based upon the designs issued by DeLaRue in 1964. This note has a high Catalogue value of $750.00 so the price listed is quite fair !
