Several eBay buyers have asked about the "C?" condition of my items in my auctions. When I started my collection in the early eighties and purchased from sellers who had their own stores, Barbie Bazaar Magazines, going to Barbie shows, there was a grading system for the fashion items. Barbie was at the pinnacle of her Collectability popularity. At that time the grading system consisted of a letter "C" for condition followed by numbers from 1 - 10 with 10 being excellent. Mint only referred to untouched, undamaged items within the original sealed packages or possibly the items removed from a box for photographing and still sewn to the cards. I learned not to remove an item from the package if I wanted to rate it a Mint item. This is a judgement call by the seller at that specific place in time. Condition is Pre-Owned and is in C9+ to C10 condition. I am selling my Barbie Doll Collection of VINTAGE DOLLS AND FASHIONS, NRFB Contemporary dolls and fashions, as well as, old NRFB vintage individual clothing pieces and personally boxed vintage outfits. There will also be Barbie's Dream House, dressers and other original furniture pieces, Barbie Bazaar magazines and so much more. I will also be selling my Tammy Doll Collection which includes, Pepper, Ted, Pete, Tammy's little brother who morphed into Pepper's friend "Salty" for 1-2 year, Tammy's Mom & Dad, Mr. & Mrs. Turner, boyfriend, Bud, Tammy's friends Tressy, Misty or Miss Clairol dolls, as well as Pepper's friends Salty and Dodi and fashion items both NRFB & loose items. This is a cute fashion set for Barbie which is a Contemporary item, therefore not found in the three volumes by Sarah Sink Eames, published by Collector Books a Division of Schroeder Publishing Co., Inc., copyright Sarah Sink Eames The Barbie NRFB Clothing is C9+ to C10 condition & consists of: I have had this item for a very long time. Over the years I have tried to identify it through my research books, many of them. I can only say it is reminiscent of the Kool Aid Wacky style fashions of 1993. However, this outfit has no mention at all of Kool Aid in the print fabric which simply says "Paris Fashion". So, that is what I am calling this "Paris Fashion" outfit.The yellow, turquoise, hot pink and tan rayon jacket has a Paris Fashion design print with a long & wide lapel, gathered sleeves along the outside seam and long tails in the front that are tied at the ends.The crop top is a turquoise tricot knit with the neckline bordered in yellow tricot and the bottom of the midriff is hot pink elastic.The funky pants are tight fitting turquoise tricot that end around about the knee with a hot pink elastic waist and a bright yellow tricot ruffled flounce around the hipline.No booklet comes with this outfit. I will ship via in a Priority Mail box which includes up to $50.00 worth of insurance. I have described all items within this auction to the best of my knowledge. Additional insurance will be needed to cover all auctions or higher cost of item(s) within this box and postage on combined auction shipments and if you want the extra insurance, it will be an additional cost to you. The extra insurance means I cannot use eBay shipping and must use USPS shipping postage set up which allows me to purchase extra insurance if you so desire.
