Beautiful and sturdy rustic Americana barn wood shelf with hand cut metal endcaps. The wood came from a Centennial barn in the UP of Michigan. YOU MAY REQUEST A WIDTH CUT-DOWN TO ANY SIZE, AT NO CHARGE, BEFORE SHIPPING. THE ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE WITH THIS MODIFICATION. YOU MAY ALSO REQUEST TWO PRE-DRILLED HOLES AT THE TOP BACK BOARDS FOR EXTRA MOUNTING STRENGTH. THESE TWO HOLES WOULD BE CENTERED FOR 16 " ON CENTER STUDS. Measures 36 inches wide by 9 3/4 inches high and 8 inches deep. Two holes at top of metal endcaps for mounting to wall or fence. Four long screws included. WEIGHT IS 8 POUNDS UNPACKED. I LIGHTLY RAN A BLOCK OF GRADE 150 SANDPAPER TO REDUCE THE CHANCE OF SLIVERS WHILE HANDLING. I DID NOT WANT TO OVER SAND THE PATINA SO HANDLE THE SHELF LIKE ROUGH CUT LUMBER . . . WITH CARE. This is reclaimed barn wood in all it's glory and imperfections. There may be nicks, cuts, stains, knots, fissures, color variations and uneven edges. Lot's of character lines. It is very sturdy and with the two extra screws (in studs) it can handle a max of 75 pounds of weight.END CAPS WILL BE REMOVED FOR SHIPPING. YOU NEED JUST A SCREWDRIVER TO REASSEMBLE.
