Baume & Mercier, or "B&M," has created a youthful, irreverant and more casual line with their "Baume" references. They are also smaller batch production runs and frankly more collectible. This sustainable materials reference was made in collaboration with a famous French skateboarder --- Aurelien Giraud --- and features a wonderfully simple, cool and irrerant dial, intriguing wood casework, peculiar crown placement and various composite materials throughout. Love it! The condition of this watch is as follows: Outstanding. It arrived to me virtually unworn but of course I had to wear it out a couple of evenings to give it a field test. (It passed. Looked cool. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include: 1. This watch is large at 42mm and works well on medium to large wrists. It brings a modern large look and I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 6+1/2 inches in circumference and larger. I have an average size wrist and this watch works well on my wrist. This will fit up to about an 8 inch wrist with ease and great proportions.2. This is peculiar watch that makes a modern oversized "alternative" kind of statement. This watch is made for casual times and is pretty much perfect with a black leather jacket, a black, grey or white t-shirt and jeans look or for going out to a cool club, bar or restaurant. Evening, Friday, Saturday and Sunday is more the vibe for this one. 3. Highlights on this one include the interesting, peculiar dial --- word Baume rotates around every 12 hours giving you a branded hour hand experience. In the first photo, the time is approximately 5 minutes until 5 o'clock. There is no second hand. Again, a casual and fun take on timekeeping. 4. Tremendous value in automatic chronograph watch making here. Swiss made, stylish and striking. 5. Flipping this one over and you get a look into the automatic mechanical wizardry of the movement. Unexpected and great value that you can appreciate versus keeping the goods under a boring, plain caseback. 6. The strap is super comfortable, light-weight (as is the timepiece itself) and cool. The use of interesting fabric, avante-garde stitching and details are very youthful. This would make a great gift if one wanted to introduce a younger person to the wonderful world of mechanical timepieces. 7. Baume & Mercier is of course legendary for high-quality and tremendous value. This colab timepiece is squarely in their "wheelhouse" of what they do exceptionally well. This watch often generates conversations and is immediately recognizeable as a cool, different and premium timepiece. This one is a likely future collectible --- very much like how rare Swatch watches appreciate over time. 8. Additional Baume collateral as noted in the "everything picture" rounds out this listing. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.
