And now, with all that said... The WINNER of this "kentuckyrebel" AUCTION will receive ONE (1) 100% original, RARE, and vintage SEVEN (7'') INCH 33 1/3 rpm (not a cassette, CD, or 8-track tape; but vinyl) extended play (EP) record by THE BEATLES--as released in JAPAN; in its original PICTURE SLEEVE, with original LYRIC INSERT--for the songs: "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'' and "I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER'' b/w "PLEASE MISTER POSTMAN'' and "AND I LOVE HER;'' this being a 1965 FIRST PRESSING, as indicated by CHRISTOPH MAUS' excellent book "BEATLES WORLDWIDE II : AN ANTHOLOGY OF ORIGINAL SINGLES & EP-RELEASES,'' and also confirmed in JOACHIM NOSKE's comparable "THE BEATLES COVERED : A PICTORIAL JOURNEY THROUGH BEATLES RECORD SLEEVES FROM AROUND THE WORLD;'' with those two reference books being my main resources when listing items such as this (no offense to AZING MOLTMAKER, who's equally an expert in such matters, or any of my many other colleagues out there; my having been collecting PICTURE SLEEVES long enough to know a little about them myself).PICTURE SLEEVE shows the expected, natural paper aging and soiling / stains (the latter bring most prominent along opening edge of backside), corner bends and ''dings,'' early record impression / ringwear and the usual corner creases that accompany it, light wear along opening edge (this being a side loader), and creases / wrinkling from handling along upper edge. Absolutely NO SEAM SPLITS, TAPE, or WRITING of any kind! Would FRAME quite NICELY. LYRIC INSERT shows major wrinkling from handling--including having been folded to fit inside a pocket--staining, and wear and tear along edges. VINYL has fared much, much better and appears to have received mainly LIGHT AND LOVING PLAY; with wonderfully CLEAN LABELS on both sides--my hating to GRADE my items anymore since so many sellers seem to abuse the old Goldmine system: adding a plethora of plusses with their own definitions of VG, EX, NM, etc. However, as my FEEDBACK STATES, I don't sell junk (since I, personally, don't like buying junk on eBay--or anywhere else, for that matter); and feel certain that this auction is SURE TO PLEASE the fellow BEATLES COLLECTOR and / or CONNOISSEUR (especially at the OPENING BID)!* NOTE: This BEATLES-related AUCTION is only ONE (1) among MANY I'll be listing THIS WEEKEND and in the MANY MONTHS to come; so put me on your FAVORITE SELLERS list, all you BEATLEMANIACS, and sign up for my FREE eBay store NEWSLETTER, highlighting NEW AUCTIONS and special SALES each week! *As both my eBay FEEDBACK and NOTES from HAPPY BIDDERS can attest, I tend to GRADE my items a bit HARSHLY; but would rather a WINNING BIDDER be pleasantly SURPRISED (as opposed to extremely disappointed) with any TRANSACTION.I always COMBINE SHIPPING on multiple auctions, and prefer to ship items by PRIORITY MAIL (available is asked for; and, in the case of ITEMS SUCH AS THIS, can ship ALL THE SINGLES AND SLEEVES YOU WANT for the price of a PRIORITY MAIL FLAT RATE ENVELOPE), but will make concessions since MEDIA MAIL is so much more inexpensive when able to be used. In cases such as these, I'm more than happy to look into OVERSEAS POSTAGE myself, when asked, and definitely recommend this for buyers wanting to make MULTIPLE PURCHASES since eBay's GLOBAL SHIPPING doesn't tend to COMBINE SHIPPING, and I can usually save my customers a considerable amount when handling SHIPMENT for them directly. As this is an AUCTION--and not a DEPARTMENT STORE--I don't accept RETURNS; but since I try to be as thorough as possible in my descriptions, always include INSURANCE at my own expense, and (as my FEEDBACK notes) am known for my PACKING ABILITIES, there should be no foreseeable problems.
